Parkersburg South 77, Bridgeport 31

PARKERSBURG —Parkersburg South’s five seniors went out on a roll here Saturday night.

Playing in their final home regular season game, seniors Sarah Harvey, Kim Stephens, Taylor Phillips, Tara Collins and Jessie Leasure helped the Patriots destroy visiting Bridgeport, which lost for just the fourth time.

South completed the regular season with a 19-3 mark. The Patriots will open sectional play on Thursday at Parkersburg High.

Phillips led South with 19 points while Stephens added 18.

Bridgeport (18-4) scored just eight points in the first half.
