Parkersburg South 65, Nitro 52

NITRO —Playing for the second time in two nights, Parkersburg South’s girls showed no signs of fatigue here Saturday night, rolling to a 65-52 win over Nitro.

The Patriots led by just four points at the end of three quarters, but pulled away to a comfortable lead down the stretch.

South (15-5) was led by Taylor Phillips with 18 points while Allison Crislip added 13.

Nitro got 19 points from Kendra Wallace and 15 from Andrea Smith.

The Patriots travel to Williamstown on Tuesday.

Kendra Wallace led Nitro with 19 points. Andrea Smith scored 15 points and Chelsea Kearns 12 for the Wildcats (6-13).
