Parkersburg South 39, St. Albans 27

ST. ALBANS -Parkersburg South, coming off a double overtime win over top-ranked North Marion on Friday night, found itself in a slow and at times sloppy game here Saturday night in a 39-27 win over St. Albans.

The Patriots, who led 22-8 at halftime, held the ball for much of the third quarter when St. Albans remained passive on defense.

South (10-1) was led by Jessie Moore with 10 points and Danielle Floyd with nine.

The Patriots will entertain Fairmont Senior on Monday night at the Rod Oldham Athletic Center in a makeup game.
